Disneyland unveils changes coming to Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Disneyland is planning to make some big changes next year to one of the classic rides at Disneyland – Snow White’s Scary Adventures and now we know more.
Earlier, we wrote about the permit filed for the refurbishment, now Disneyland has revealed some details of the changes to the story.
There will be some enhanced story details and scenes added. “For example, a new vignette will show Snow White in a beautiful forest setting waking up from her deep sleep. Also, the attraction will conclude when Snow White is reunited with her animal friends and a shimmering castle is seen in the distance,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The audio and visual technology will see an upgrade, as well as new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system.
Not only will the inside see changes, but the outside of the attraction will be refreshed with “new, fairytale-inspired details to complement the nearby charming Sleeping Beauty Castle,” the blog reports.
The last time the attraction had a major refurbishment was in 1983 when the entire new Fantasyland version was unveiled.
The ride will remain open through Jan. 6, 2020.
