‘Stormtrooper Plane’ celebrates Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Another airline has repainted one of its planes to celebrate a Disney Parks destination.

This one is a “Stormtrooper Plane” celebrating the recent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios in Dinsey World.

LATAM Airlines Group, based in Chile, recently unveiled the special edition Boeing 777  aircraft at a Star Wars-inspired event in São Paulo, Brazil. The “Stormtrooper Plane” was designed by Disney’s creative team along with Lucasfilm.

To accomplish this look, it took workers more than 21 days to created and more than 660 gallons of ink.

The aircraft will be flying from São Paulo to a number of destinations, including Orlando, Miami, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris and London, according to airline company.

And for those flying this special plane, they will have access to all 10 films of the Star Wars Collection on LATAM’s onboard entertainment platform.

Earlier this week Alaska Airlines unveiled its latest special-edition aircraft that looks like Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure.
