Walls to go up around Future World attractions at Epcot on Sept. 8
UPDATE: Here is where you can find all your favorite characters in the park now.
The remaking of Epcot at Disney World will feel even more real starting Sept. 8, 2019, when walls are expected to close off a large portion of Future World.
As we previously reported, Epcot will be undergoing a major
Construction is already in full gear in the front of the park to redo the entrance and security areas.
And walls are expected to go up around Character Spot, Fountain View, Fountain of Nations and Club Cool on the night of Sept. 8.
This weekend will mark the closing of a number of attractions. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, will be the last day of operation for:
Fountain View Starbucks and Club Cool – They will close with elements set to return in the future.
Innoventions East – Colortopia will finish its run.
Fountain of Nations – This will close for good.
Character Spot – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy will move from the current Character Spot and temporarily relocate across the breezeway to Character Spot North before moving to other locations.
