A first look at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride vehicles

Disney has released the first look at the ride vehicle for the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster coming to Epcot and some more information about the ride.

The new attraction, scheduled for 2021 is described as a family-friendly “storytelling coaster” that will feature a ride system with vehicles that rotate 360 degrees.

The OmniCoaster ride system, according to Disney, will direct your eyes to the story happening around you. The ride can also do a reverse launch.

As you enter Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction you will enter the “Galaxarium,” a planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. You’ll be invited to learn more about Xandar’s treasures – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue.
