Will walkway from Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom finally be finished?

A permit for a project named “Grand Floridian to MK Walkway“ has been filed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

While there is no explanation of what the work will entail many can hope that the walkway linking the resort and the Magic Kingdom might finally be complete.

For those who have taken the Monorail, you might have looked down and seen the pathway from the Magic Kingdom boat launches to the Grand Floridian ends at the canal were the Electrical Water Pageant is stored.

The walkway already has a lights installed. Disney has not made any announcement of what is to come.

Currently, guests can walk from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom. And, guests can walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Polynssian Resort and the Grand Floridian Resort.
