Marvel Studios releases movie lineup through 2022
The highly anticipated movie lineup for the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been released and they include more Black Widow, Doctor Strange
Disney has reserved eight slots over the next three years for Marvel film releases, but only announced specific dates for five titles. However, none of those titles included “Black Panther 2,” “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” or “Captain Marvel 2,” which are all expected to be released in the next few years.
One of the surprises that was announced was a new “Blade” movie starring Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali.
The next phase of the MCU was announced at San Diego ComicCon. The next film will not be out until May 2020.

BLACK WIDOW – May 1, 2020
The film stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. This is directed by Cate Shortland.
The Eternals – Nov. 6, 2020
The Eternals were created by Jack Kirby in the 1970s. They are a race of god-like beings locked in a conflict with the less evolved Deviants and their originators, the Celestials. Each of the immortals has various powers. The movie will star Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh
Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings – Feb. 12, 2021
Master of Kung Fu, Shang-Chi, makes his debut. Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Tony Leung star in the film being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness -May 7, 2021
Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen star in the movie which Marvel Studios Kevin Feige said will be the first scary MCU film. The film is being directed by Scott Derrickson.
Thor: Love and Thunder – Nov. 5, 2021
Natalie Portman is returning for this movie. Tessa Thompson will also return with Chris Hemsworth again holding the hammer. Taika Waititi returns as director.
