Lion King scavenger hunt, new merchandise coming to Animal Kingdom

A new scavenger hunt and new merchandise all themed to “The Lion King” will debut July 19 at Animal Kingdom.

You will be able to walk around Harambe Village to seek out your favorite Lion King characters hidden around the area for the hunt. Each time you spot one of the carvings, you add the corresponding sticker to your map.

The map will be available at Outpost, Discovery Trading Company, Island Mercantile, and Mombasa Marketplace. Return your map to Mombasa Marketplace in Harambe or The Outpost Shop in the Oasis by September 28, 2019 or while supplies last for a savanna surprise.

The new merchandise coming out will include a new Dooney & Bourke collection that includes a satchel, crossbody and tote with a pattern featuring characters such as Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa. These handbags will be available starting July 19 while supplies last at Mombasa Marketplace and Discovery Trading Company.

All the new merchandise will be located at  Mombasa Marketplace, Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Company.
