Photos, Video: Maleficent dragon rules Disney Villains After Hours
The special Disney Villains After Hours event at the Magic Kingdom that kicked off on June 6 was special in numerous ways (and we will get to our full review later today), but the most spectacular scene was watching Maleficent, the steampunk fire-breathing dragon, go through the park at night.
Normally you see the 53-foot long, 26-foot high dragon in the afternoon Festival of Fantasy Parade battling Prince Phillip.
But at Disney Villains After Hours, the “Ravens” who fly around Maleficent just waiting to do her bidding, led the way through the park three times during the night.
The last trip was the normal parade route and if you followed her to the Main Street train station, she came upon a number of other Disney Villains waiting to say goodnight to the crowd. Let’s take a look, the video is below as well.
