Photo: Latest look at Tron track construction at Magic Kingdom

The massive track construction for the new Tron attraction at the Magic Kingdom continues and it is quite impressive.

A ride on the PeopleMover or standing next to Goofy’s Barnstormer will give you two good vantage points.

The new coaster, being built in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run. Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.

Due to the construction, the Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for refurbishment.  The ride is expected to be open in 2021.
