Disney’s Hilton Head Resort remains closed through Wednesday due to Hurricane Florence

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina will remain closed through Wednesday, Sept. 19 due to Hurricane Florence, Disney announced.

The resort was closed starting Sept. 11, as the deadly storm was about to batter the Carolina coast.

All businesses on Hilton Head is now trying to get back to normal after evacuation orders, supply chain cutoffs and staff shortages due to the storm, according to the Hilton Head Island Packet. 

While the storm itself spared Hilton Head Island, the flow of guests is slow due to road closures from the north and canceled flights to South Carolina.
