Photos: Tron coaster track supports installed at Magic Kingdom

The track supports for the new Tron attraction coming to Walt Disney World are up, as construction progresses on the site.

The new coaster being built in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run. Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.

Due to the construction, the Tomorrowland Speedway and Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for refurbishment.

These track supports will most likely be visible as most of the ride is being built to operate under underneath a color-shifting canopy.
