Photos: Tomorrowland Speedway getting ready for reopening

The Tomorrowland Speedway, which has been closed since January, is getting ready for its reopening May 18 now that the track has been reconfigured.

Due to the construction of the new Tron ride next to Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, the speeedway and the Walt Disney World Railroad have been closed as the tracks for both attractions were being moved.

The length of the Speedway track appears to have been shortened slightly. The downtime has also allowed for some work on the cars, which have been parked near the front of the attraction as the track work has been taking place.
