As part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary celebration, Disney has unveiled a new logo for the theme park.

The logo contains images of the next big three lands/attractions that will take Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort into the next devade.

Woody – Representing Toy Story Land, another new area of the park which is being counted on as a place for kids and adults. Just the day before the anniversary Disney announced a new Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant for the land.

Mickey Mouse – Delayed until the spring of 2020, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will take over the space of The Great Movie Ride and will be the first ride-through attraction in Disney Parks history to feature Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. The ride will also be a beacon for all walking into the theme park. Think of it as the Cinderella Castle of Hollywood Studios.

The current logo has Mickey holding a clapboard, which symboes when the theme park was also a working studio.

The park opened on May 1, 1989, when Hollywood celebrities walked the grand-opening red carpet. The park has evolved since those early days, when it was a fully functioning television and movie production studio providing a peek behind the scenes at moviemaking magic.
