New Disney World interactive experiences unveiled on Play Disney Parks app

Disney is continually updating the Play Disney Parks mobile app to help guests explore the parks. Now, they’ve introduced two new experiences. The first centers on Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom. The second deals with the Kidcot Fun Stop at Epcot.

Here’s a closer look:

• The Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day: Guests can play together through a series of Splash Mountain-themed mini-games featuring some woodland pals from the attraction. After completing these challenges, guests are rewarded with special photo frames to help them capture their memories. 
• Disney Kidcot Puzzle Hunt: Guests embark on an interactive world tour to find physical jigsaw puzzle pieces throughout the Kidcot Fun Stops in all 11 World Showcase pavilions. After completing a pavilion’s puzzle hunt through the app, guests are rewarded with digital jigsaw puzzles and special photo frames themed to each pavilion.

The Play Disney Parks app offers in-queue games, themed achievements, official Disney Parks playlists and more.

Other recent updates include a new Toy Story Land interaction at Disney World and a look at what’s in store at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
