Mickey’s of Hollywood closing for refurbishment at Hollywood Studios
Another major shopping destination at Hollywood Studios is closing for refurbishment starting May 14, 2019.
Mickey’s of Hollywood, what many consider the main shopping destination at Hollywood Studios, is closing for a major refurbishment starting May 14. Keystone Clothiers and Legends of Hollywood are also undergoing
No announcements have been made as to when any of the three would expect to reopen, however, one would guess it would be prior to the Aug. 29 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Mickey’s of Hollywood is the catch-all store for all souvenirs. It is the first major store you see when entering the theme park and the last when going out, similar to the Emporium on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.
Disney has not yet announced if there will be additional locations for merchandise, or if there will be any temporary locations opened.
