‘Avengers: Endgame” tops $2B, now second largest worldwide release of all-time
In just 11 days, “Avengers: Endgame” crossed the $2 billion mark at the global box office and moved to the number two spot as the all-time champ moving ahead of James Cameron’s “Titanic”
Disney is reporting the estimated worldwide gross revenue of Marvel Studios latest blockbuster is $2.189 billion, pushing past “Avengers: Infinity War” ($2.048 billion), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ($2.068 billion) and even “Titanic” ($2.188 billion) to become the No. 2 release of all time behind only “Avatar” ($2.788 billion).
A”vengers: Endgame” now holds the No. 9 all-time spot domestically, with $620 million; and is No. 2 internationally, with $1.528 billion, behind only “Avatar” ($2.028 billion).
In China, the film’s top international market, “Avengers: Endgame” has already become the highest grossing non-local film in history with an estimated $576 million to date.
It also the highest grossing Hollywood film in India with $52 million to date.
“Avengers: Endgame” is also the highest all-time industry release in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand (western), Egypt, Ethiopia, Middle East (as a whole), Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, UAE, Turkey (western), Mexico, Colombia, Central America
