The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at Walt Disney World does everything, well, grand. Including the Easter Egg Display.
For 24 years, the bakery team has been designing and hand-decorating the eggs. The team, led by Pastry Chef Kristine Farmer, took three weeks to create the fully edible display.
Each is ornamented with edible products such as modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar floral, royal icing, colored cocoa butter and sculpted sugar pieces.
The eggs are hollow and weigh between 9 and 12 pounds each and stand from 16 to 20 inches tall.
The eggs will be on display through Sunday, April 28, 2019. Here’s a look at a few of them.
