Worker falls to death at Epcot construction site
A worker at a construction site at Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot died Tuesday night after a fall, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 5:14 p.m. behind the France Pavilion at the park, WFTV reports.That is the area where the new Ratatouille attraction is being constructed.
The worker, identified by authorities as George Walter Dewayne Grimes, 58, of Winter Garden, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were immediately available.
A Walt Disney World cast member was killed in an industrial accident near the Pop Century Resort.
