Photos: Tron March construction update at Magic Kingdom

The land is clear, the cranes are erected and the first steel beam has been signed. Now the big work is taking place on the Tron construction site in the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World.

The ride is being built in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain. Based on the Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run, the coaster has riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles.

Due to the construction, the Tomorrowland Speedway and Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed. A ride on the PeopleMover in Tomorrowland can give all a a closeup view of what’s taking place.
