New Vera Bradley-Disney pattern unveiled, bags go on sale March 28

A new Vera Bradley-Disney pattern goes on sale starting tomorrow, March 28, 2019, exclusively at the Disney Springs store in the Walt Disney World.

The limited-edition novelty pattern is called Mickey and Friends and features full-body images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse and their special pals, surrounded by a colorful floral motif on a light gray background. 

The collection will feature 16 items, including totes, backpacks, a large duffel and various travel items, a beach towel, a plush throw blanket, and several coordinating accessories, with prices ranging from $20 to $140.  

The limited-edition pattern will only be available at Vera Bradley’s Disney Springs store. There is some talk that some items might appear on shopDisney.com

If you are going to the store, get there early. They will open at 8 a.m., but there will be long lines. Vera Bradley is saying that there will be interactive photo moments, autograph sessions, Disney-inspired refreshments and complimentary monogramming of on the new release.

Let’s hope that there are more pieces to this collection. Mickey’s Paisley Celebration, which came out in September 2018, was pretty much sold out in four days. And, while Vera Bradley said they would restock, there were many pieces that did not come back.
