New crêperie restaurant opening at France Pavilion in Epcot
A new restaurant will be built next to the upcoming Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction in Epcot’s France Pavilion at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The new crêperie will feature the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, the mastermind behind the pavilion’s Chefs de France brasserie. The menu will be inspired by the Brittany region of France and offer table service dining as well as a quick-service stop for guests craving crepes called galettes and sweet crepes, Disney announced.
The restaurant is part of a major transformation of Epcot and Disney World. (Check out our complete list of everything coming to Disney World.)
This is the third major announcement made concerning the France Pavilion. The first was the construction of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, in which guests will virtually shrink to the size of French cuisine’s most famous rat and scurry to safety across the kitchen of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant. The second is a new “Beauty and the Beast” Sing-Along experience. All three of these are expected to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
