Kevin from ‘Up’ lands at Discovery Island in the Animal Kingdom

Kevin, the 13-foot tall giant tropical bird rescued by Carl Russell and Dug in Disney-Pixar’s “Up!” has landed at Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom.

Disney has released a video of Kevin walking through the park. Disney World is on a migratory path where “nearly one-third of the resort serves as an important corridor for many species,” according to Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team.

In addition to actual Kevin, a new plush version of Kevin will be available soon at select merchandise locations in Animal Kingdom, such as Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Co.
