@bioreconstruct again went up in the air to give us a birdseye view of what’s happening. The coaster, which is scheduled to open in 2021, is located behind Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway.
Disney World recently filed a building permit with Orange County to install “ride steel.” Coastal Steel Inc., which has provided steel for Expedition Everest, Mission Space, the Coronado Springs Resort and others.
The coaster will resemble the Tron Lightcycle Power Run coaster in Shanghai Disneyland, which is a semi-enclosed launched steel roller coaster based on the movie “Tron.” Guests board a light cycle and ride through the Grid reaching speeds of nearly 60 mph.
