Special Disney on Broadway Dessert Party for DVC members being offered
Disney Vacation Club members will have the opportunity to mingle with some of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series stars performing at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts in February.
As part of the festival, Broadway stars will be performing nightly songs featured in Disney Broadway shows. During the last night of the festival, Feb. 25, 2019, Disney Vacation Club has created a Disney on Broadway Dessert Party for Members and their guests.
Those going to the party will receive guaranteed seating at one of the evening’s Disney on Broadway concerts at the America Gardens Theatre and an 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. fireworks dessert party in the United Kingdom Pavilion before mingling with the Disney on Broadway stars during a casual cocktail hour (9:30-10:30 p.m.) in the Member Lounge atop the Imagination! Pavilion.
The stars performing that night who DVC members will get to meet are Ashley Brown (Broadway’s original Mary Poppins), Josh Strickland (Broadway’s original Tarzan), Alton Fitzgerald White (Broadway’s record-breaking Lion King, with 4,308 performances as Mufasa) and Kissy Simmons (known to many Disney fans for her standout performances as Nala in “The Lion King”).
The cost for the event is $77 (plus tax and gratuity) for adults and $52 (plus tax and gratuity) for children. Paid Epcot admission also is required. You get the tickets from Member Services beginning Jan. 8 at (800) 800-9800.
