Disneyland raises prices on tickets, annual passes, parking

Less than five months before the opening of the largest expansion in Disneyland’s history, the resort announced price hikes for daily tickets, annual passes and parking.

Ticket prices increased anywhere from 5 to 10 percent, while annual passes increased from 8 to 23 percent and parking increased by 25 percent.

This increase comes just short of a year when prices were increased up to 18 percent. This June, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the new 14-acre land at Disneyland is expected to open.

The cheapest ticket available for a one day visit in the value season is now $104, up from $97. The largest increase came in the 1 Day, 1 Park peak ticket by 10 percent to $149 from $135. Annual passholders will see an increase ranging from 8 percent to nearly 22 percent.

Daily parking at the parks increased to $25 from $20. Also, the MaxPass, a digital ride-reservation system that guests upload to their smartphones, will be priced at $15, up from $10.

The most expensive “Premier Pass,” which includes parking, access to both parks and no block-out days, plus all four parks at Walt Disney World rose to $1,949 from $1,579. Here’s the breakdown.
