ESPN Club signage removed, BoardWalk construction continues

All the signage of the ESPN Club is now gone as work is continuing on the transformation of the BoardWalk area as two new eateries are coming to the entertainment and dining area.

The building that housed the former ESPN Club as it is being changed to The Cake Bake Shop restaurant. The exterior will remain the same

No significant changes are expected to be made to the remaining structure with the exception of new signage as the interior goes through a renovation.

Expected to open in 2023, the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, is a new table service restaurant and bakery that will offer both savory and dessert menus, along with afternoon tea service, in a whimsical atmosphere that complements the magic of the idyllic charm of Disney’s BoardWalk.

In addition, work is taking place on the exterior of the Trattoria al Forno and the exterior where the new BoardWalk Deli is coming later this summer replacing the BoardWalk Bakery.

The new BoardWalk Deli is inspired by the delis of the Northeast region with a menu that takes you on a trip from New York to the Jersey Shore.
