6 things to look forward to onboard the Disney Cruise Line in 2019

The Disney Cruise Line will be introducing new events, surprises and destinations in 2019. Here are the six things coming to the cruise line in 2019.

1. Celebrate Mickey’s 90th – A special 90th birthday party celebration will come to the Disney Fantasy in summer 2019 with a new Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea deck party. During this event, you can join favorite Disney characters as they celebrate Mickey’s 90th in style, complete with special costumes and a song made just for the occasion – “It’s a Good Time.”

2. Captain Marvel joins Marvel Day at Sea –Captain Marvel makes her debut during Marvel Day at Sea which returns in early 2019. During the day you can choose to sail with your choice of superhero and enjoy themed activities.

3. Star Wars Day at Sea – This event returns to the Disney Cruise Line in early 2019 and give you the choice to sal with your favorite Jedi. During these special sailings, you get to spend a full day immersed in the world of your favorite stories. These cruises feature epic entertainment and an abundance of character meet and greets.

4. New Destinations and adventures- Some of the new sailings in 2019 include more chances to sail out of San Diego, a collection of roundtrip sailings from Rome and seven brand-new ports of call in Europe such as Stockholm, Sweden, Belfast, Northern Ireland and Cartagena, Spain.

5. A Different Way to Celebrate Halloween and the Holidays –  In 2019, Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises return for the seasons. Both cruises feature decked out ships and special entertainment.

6. New Adventures by Disney Short Escapes – Adventures by Disney offers numerous short escapes that can be added on to various cruises. In 2019, ABD will be offering a pre-cruise guided experience in London to enhance your European cruise sailing from nearby Dover, England. With additional add-on trips in Rome, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Southern California and New York.
