New special to show how Disney transforms parks for the holidays

Whoopi Goldberg and Sofia Carson will host the upcoming holiday special showing how Disneyland and Disney World are transformed for the holidays.

“Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic” premiers Dec. 18, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST

with seasonal attractions, entertainment,  décor and special treats.

“As a longtime friend of Mickey, there’s no place I’d rather spend the holidays than at the Happiest Place on Earth,” Goldberg said,. “To see the incredible work that goes into turning the parks into a winter wonderland is truly magical, and I’m so happy to be a part of it.”

The show will introduce viewers to the Disney cast members who plan, design, build and put together the Christmas trees, life-size gingerbread houses and decorations/

“Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic,” will air during Freeform’s annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming event.
