Details released for January’s Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration at Magic Kingdom

Disney World has announced more details for the limited-time experiences coming to Disney World in 2019.

Starting Jan 18, 2019,  Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration at the Magic Kingdom will take place. This will include new entertainment, merchandise and food celebrating Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Here’s what’s going to happen, according to the Disney Parks Blog: 

• Mickey and Minnie will greet guests together inside Town Square Theater, dressed in their new celebration outfits.

• You will be able to sign a guestbook inside the new Celebration Station inside Town Square Theater.

• An all-new song, “It’s a Good Time,” will play several times daily as part of the new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party.”

• Pluto will meet guests under the big top at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus.

Also, starting on Jan. 18, 2019 around the park:

• To mark Hollywood Studio’s 30th anniversary, Disney will unveil a new 30th anniversary logo.

• The Epcot International Festival of the Arts kicks off. .

• At Animal Kingdom, a new dance party on Discovery Island featuring Rafiki and Timon kicks off with the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party.”
