Tom Sawyer Island closing for 2 months at Magic Kingdom

Tom Sawyer Island at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World will close for over two months starting Oct. 14, 2018.

The attraction will re-open on Dec. 22, 2018, according to the Disney World site.

The closing is most likely associated with the nearly year-long refurbishment of the Liberty Square Riverboat. The riverboat, which closed Jan. 8, 2018, is also scheduled to return on Dec. 22, 2018.
