Themes revealed for the 2019 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend

This upcoming Star Wars race weekend at Disney World will celebrate the rivalry between the light side and the dark side.

Each of the five races taking place during the April 4 to 7, 2019 weekend will feature light and dark side races.

Runners who register by Jan. 15, 2019  will have the opportunity to choose their side, which will be revealed through the design of their race bib during the event weekend.

For those who register after that date, the Force will choose your fate.

Here’s the breakdown of the rivalries:

• Star Wars Rival Run 5K | Finn and Captain Phasma
• Star Wars Rival Run 10K | Han Solo and Boba Fett
• Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon | Rey and Kylo Ren
• Star Wars Rival Run Challenge | Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader
• runDisney Kids Races | BB-8 and BB-9E
