Fountain drinks, bottled water, snack prices increase at Disney World

Disney World has quietly raised the prices of counter service fountain drinks, bottled water and soda and some snacks at the theme parks on Oct. 2, 2018.

The increase involves many of the favorite snacks around the park, including pretzels, ice cream and even the popular Dole Whip.

There’s no word from Disney as to whether this will be permanent, or seasonal changes. The price changes takes place as some cuts took place in the entertainment areas of the parks as many speculate this is due to cost-cutting measures because of lower attendance this fall.

Here’s a quick tour of some of the price increases:

Soda fountain regular drinks from $3.29 to $3.99

Soda fountain large drinks from $3.79 to $4.49

Bottled soda from $4 to $4.50

Dasini bottled water from $3 to $3.50

Mickey Pretzel from $6 to $7

Mickey Ice Cream from $5 to $5.75

Dole Whip cup from $4.49 to $4.99 at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom.

Pineapple Float from $5.49 to $5.99 at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom.

Dole Whip Pineapple Upside Down Cake from $6.49 to $6.99 at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom.
