Disney World artists schedule for Mickey’s 90th birthday released
Eleven Disney artists will be making special appearances and signings throughout the Walt Disney World Resort for Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday in November and December.

Friday, November 16, 2018

About the Artists
- Costa Alavezos has been a Senior Character Artist for Disney Design Group since June 1997, creating figurines, paintings and vintage sketches for Disney galleries.
- Brian Blackmore has been a Principal Character Artist for 27 years, creating the Mickey art on the Disney’s Magical Express, the bow of the Disney Dream for Disney Cruise Line and in many of the Art of Disney galleries.
- Doug Bolly has created realistic portrayals of wildlife in large-scale murals, but most recently has contributed his talents to Disney attractions, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney Imagineering.
- Matt Hawkins is a paper toy maker, toy designer and illustrator working away in an attic in Kansas City. His pieces have been shown in art galleries and exhibitions from LA to Amsterdam to Tokyo.
- Alex Maher became a Senior Character Artist in 1993. Alex’s responsibilities include drawing, training new artists and making sure the integrity of the Disney characters are upheld.
- Randy Noble worked on numerous television shows and was a comedy writer for MGM Studios. In 1998, he began a new career as Senior Artist with Disney and currently oversees the creative for Disney Galleries.
- Dave Perillo works as an Illustrator in Philadelphia, creating his own pop culture art, and loves to immerse himself into the world of comic conventions, art galleries and freelance design.
- Bill Robinson has recently worked with Disney Junior (Puppy Dog Pals) and Disney Interactive and has illustrated over 12 books for children, including titles from Frozen and Vampirina.
- Kristin Tercek’s characters come to life in the form of cute foods, charming botanicals, and both real and imagined animals.
- Don “Ducky” Williams, the acclaimed Senior Character Artist of 37 years, has drawn and illustrated thousands of Disney characters for books, lithographs, brochures, magazine ads, theme park images and television.
- Darren Wilson has captured his subject matter through composition, movement, tone and attention to detail to create works of art for the Art of Disney galleries for the past 17 years.
