Where can we go for a special dining experience at Disney World that is not too expensive?
Q. We’re planning our first wedding anniversary trip and need some options of places to have a special dining experience – that’s not too expensive!
A. Congratulations on your celebration!

There are many fantastic dining options throughout the parks, resorts, Disney Springs and the Boardwalk to celebrate. I personally love some of the somewhat off the beaten path options that are a bit more budget friendly.
In terms of park options, your best bet is going to be Epcot for so many amazing selections. One of my favorite dining options on the property is Rose and Crown, not exactly the most romantic option overall. However, if you book around 7:30 p.m. you can request a table on the patio and you can view Illuminations as you dine, which does have a bit of a romantic flair and the food is fantastic and a more affordable option.
Other options that I love in Epcot for a more romantic celebration feel are Coral Reef, Tutto Italia and Chefs de France, all delicious options. I
In terms of options in the resorts or other locations on property, I love the Grand Floridian Cafe, Olivia’s, the Turf Club, the Wave, and Sanaa all of these are amazing and with the exception of the Wave and Sanaa, are what I consider “hidden gems” of Disney dining as they are not locations that necessarily come to mind for most guests.
