Photo update: Coronado Springs new tower and restaurant construction

Construction on the 15-story tower at Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World continues with windows being installed and other exterior work.

The new tower will change the makeup of this resort, best known as a location for business conferences.

The new tower, which overlooks Lago Dorado, the resort’s lake, will bring an additional 500 rooms with suites and concierge-level services. The rooftop will offer dining experience with a view of fireworks from nearby theme parks.

The new restaurant/bar being constructed in the middle of Lago Dorado is now taking shape. Two of the three walkway bridges to the new location are complete.

The resort construction should be complete in the summer of 2019.
