Disney unveils 2019 Walt Disney World Marathon weekend medals

runDisney is providing a first look at all of the medals that will be given out during the 2019 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

During the weekend, from Jan. 10 to Jan. 13, 2019, there will be Kids Races, a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and medals for a variety of challenges. The Goofy Challenge consists of finishing the Half Marathon and Marathon. The Dopy Challenge medal is for the runner who runs, the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will make his debut on a medal, this one will be the Walt Disney World 5K.

The Dopey Challenge, Goofy Challenge and there is a special 5th anniversary  Disney Castaway Cay Challenge. The Castaway Cay Challenge is a 5K Challenge for those heading on a Disney Cruise to Castaway Cay.

Beginning in 2019, participants in the runDisney Kids Dashes and One Mile Run will earn a unique medallion for each event. This year’s designs feature Mickey and Pluto.

The marathon medal features Mickey Mouse.
