New ‘Up’ show will replace Flights of Wonder at Animal Kingdom
Disney World officially announced that Flights of Wonder will close at Animal Kingdom and be replaced by a new show featuring Russell and Dug from Disney-Pixar’s “Up.”
The new show will offer guests the chance to see Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and Dug as they discover species of birds from around the world in their newest adventure at the Caravan Theater in Anandapur village, the Disney Parks Blog announced.
The show will replaced the Flights of Wonder show, which will end Dec. 31, 2017. Flights of Wonder has been around since the park first opened nearly 20 years ago. The Caravan Stage, where the show takes place has undergone a number of renovations over the years and is one of our favorite attractions.
The new show will debut in the Spring of 2018, prior to the 20th anniversary of Animal Kingdom
