Magic Kingdom Festival of Fantasy Parade moving to 2 pm for 2018 holiday season

The Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World will be starting at 2 p.m. instead of  3 p.m. during the holiday season to accommodate the nightly special ticketed event parties.

Starting Aug. 17, 2018, the parade will move to 2 p.m. It coincides with the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. After the Halloween Party is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which runs on select nights from Nov. 8 through Dec. 21.

As long as these parties are taking place, the afternoon parade will take place at 2 p.m.

From Dec. 21 through Dec. 31, the afternoon parade the Festival of Fantasy Parade is replaced by the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

The Festival of Fantasy Parade will return to the 3 p.m. slot starting Jan. 1, 2019.
