Disney artist Greg McCullough to take over empty store at Disney Springs
The empty Little Miss Matched store in Disney Springs in Disney World will be turned into an artist gallery for Disney Fine Artist Greg McCullough.
The artist who has been producing Disney art for more than 20 years, announced on his Facebook page that he will be taking over the 3,000 square foot space from Nov. 4, 2018, to Jan. 1, 2019.
He started with the then-Pixar Studios in 1995 and moved into character art and graphics for Disney Parks and Resorts in 2007. He created the official Disney Parks “dated” logo in 2009 and official posters for Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Earlier this year he was the featured artist for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
McCullough mocked up these front and back signs of the shop.
“Nine new original ‘Disney Remnants’ and eleven original ‘Abstract Remnants’ will be released. And yes all the other pieces will be abundantly present,” he wrote.
He added that he will be officially signing at that location from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
