Disney announces Oga’s Cantina for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disney has released details of the cantina that will be opened at the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney World in 2019.

Oga’s Cantina is “described as a notorious local watering hole to unwind, conduct shady business, and maybe even encounter a friend…or a foe,” according to the Disney Parks Blog. 

Oga Garra is the proprietor of the cantina, which attracts some of the most interesting and disreputable characters in the galaxy. You never know when a stormtrooper or a familiar face will show up, Disney promises.

There will be a variety of libations for kids and adults that will be created with exotic ingredients and served in unique vessels.

For those who remember RX-24, the former Star Speeder 3000 pilot droid who first appeared in Star Tours, the droid is now the cantina’s DJ. He remains talkative as ever.
