Coronado Springs pool closing for refurbishment this fall

The main pool at the Coronado Springs Resort at Disney World, you know the one with the 50-foot pyramid, will close Sept. 4, 2018 and won’t reopen until Dec. 13, 2018.

The closing of the  Lost City of Cibola pool, includes the 123-foot-long Jaguar waterslide; the Dig Site, which boasts the largest hot tub on Walt Disney World Resort property, with room for 22;  the Lost City of Cibola Kiddie Pool; and the Iguana Arcade.

Also closing on Sept. 4 2018, will be the Siestas Cantina pool bar. Tha is scheduled to reopen on Jan. 6 2019.

The resort’s three other pools, located at the Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas, will remain open.
