Ferrytale Fireworks cruises on break, new dates announced
The Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise, which gives you a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon, is closed from July to mid-October 2018.
The cruises will start up again on Oct. 21 and will take place on most Sundays and Fridays through Jan. 4, 2019. You can find the complete schedule here.
The dessert cruise begins as you board a ferry boat at the Transportation and Ticket Center for a cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon punctuated by the fireworks display over the Cinderella Castle. The desserts are themed to the sparkling, shooting stars of the fireworks.

The fireworks soundtrack is piped on to the ship. There’s even an ultraviolet scavenger hunt for the kids. And when it comes time for the grand finale fireworks to erupt over the Castle, be sure to grab a spot along the ferryboat’s railing and slip on your “Mickey Vision” glasses. Because you are in the middle of the water you will not be able to see the projections on the castle.
The cost is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included), and even includes a special take-away surprise.
