Photos: Coronado Springs tower construction update June 2018

The new 15-story tower at Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World will change the makeup of this resort, best known as a location for business conferences.

The new tower, which overlooks Lago Dorado, the resort’s lake, will bring an additional 500 rooms with suites and concierge-level services. The rooftop will offer dining experience with a view of fireworks from nearby theme parks.

A new restaurant/bar is being constructed in the middle of Lago Dorado with a series of bridges to the location.

Construction continues with walkways around the central lake sometimes closed. The resort construction should be complete sometime in 2019.
