New menus, marketplaces, a dance party, a Sunday brunch series and other culinary events are coming to the 2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
There are a lot of new things happening at the festival, which takes place Aug. 30 to Nov. 12, 2018. So, let’s dive straight into what we can all expect.
For the kids
Playground: Let your little ones burn off their excess energy at a fun playground designed with them in mind.
Character Dance Party: On Friday and Saturday evenings, there will be a dance party with Disney Characters.
Junior Chef Kitchen: Kids become the chefs and get to eat what they make in this new experience that will take place every Sunday at the Festival Center.
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt: It’s back. The scavenger hunt around the Festival. Find Remy.
New food and marketplaces
There will be a new mimosa bar, wine and local beers, select food options and complimentary samples and seminars hosted by Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company.
Here’s a sampling of the new menu offerings coming to the festival.
- New Brunswick Slider: Slow-braised Beef Brisket “Pot Roast Style” with Horseradish Cream, Crispy Fried Onions on a Potato Roll with Pickled Vegetables on the side (Located at Hops & Barley Marketplace)
- Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Parmesan Cheese, and Pumpkin Seeds (Vegetarian) (Located at The Wine & Dine Studio)
- Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak, smoked Corn Cake with Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Cilantro (Located at Flavors from Fire)

Sunday Brunch with the Chef: Start your day in the most delicious way with a brunch buffet followed by a conversation with a distinguished, culinary television personality including.
