Disney Skyliner gondola cabin spotted at Disney World

One of the new gondolas for the new Disney Skyliner transportation system was spotted on the back of flatbed truck coming to Disney World.

Photos taken by Kona in Orlando show the what the gondola will look like before being themed. While there are towers up around Disney World for the transportation system, no cables have yet been strung. However, this gondola could be used for testing at the new stations being constructed. It could also be used to test overlays that will be placed on the cars, or just to be on site for reference.

Disney has been quiet about the progress and any specific details about the new system. This new transportation system at Disney World will connect Pop Century Resort, Art of Animation Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, The Riviera Resort, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The cabins will have Disney characters incorporated into their exterior design to give the appearance that a Disney character is riding along with guests.
