Photos: What Wonders of Life Pavilion roof construction looks like now
The Wonders of Life Pavillion at Epcot in Walt Disney World is located in a corner of the park not many people walk past. The roof has been undergoing major work and now it looks like there is an entire replacement.
Last month we saw a few workers on top of the dome doing some welding. Now the roof looks like it is being taken down to its base.
What the future of the pavilion is unknown. The pavilion opened in 1989 and was home to Cranium Command and Body Wars. It closed on Jan. 1, 2007. Since then the pavilion has been used as the festival center for both the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, that is until this current flower and garden festival.
There has been rampant speculation about the future of the building, whether it will house a new ride or will still be used for corporate events and seasonal use. Disney has not given any indication of what may happen next.
