Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge panel announced for Star Wars Galactic Nights

New photos and construction updates of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as well as more details about the planet Batuu will be talked about during the panel discussion at Star Wars Galactic Nights.

The special ticketed event at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World will again feature Warwick Davis as the evening’s official host. Actor David Collins will host the speaker’s panel, the Disney Parks Blog announced.

The panel members will include:

Scott Trowbridge, Portfolio Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering: He oversees the strategic concept development and production of the Star Wars franchise at Disney Parks. He also oversees Star Wars content across all lines of business at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, including merchandise, food & beverage, marketing and operations.

Eric Baker, Creative Director, Walt Disney Imagineering:  He is responsible for creating and developing stories and places for Disney theme parks and other Disney venues, as well as the implementation to bring these stories to life, from props to creatures.

Jon Georges, Executive Producer, Walt Disney Imagineering:  With over 30 years of experience at Walt Disney Imagineering, Jon has produced many projects around the world, including the recent updates to Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.

Margaret Kerrison, Managing Story Editor, Walt Disney Imagineering: She is responsible for the overall story direction in the Star Wars portfolio and guides and manages Star Wars-related story initiatives throughout all Disney lands, resorts, and attractions.

Tickets are still available for Star Wars: Galactic Nights. The event will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight and celebrates the Star Wars saga with entertainment, special photo ops, exclusive merchandise and encounters with rarely seen characters.

The cost is $129 for adults and $124 for children 3 to 9. Discounts are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
