Magic Kingdom wedding to air live Thursday on ‘Good Morning America’
The Magic Kingdom will host a wedding that will be broadcast live on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday morning.
The couple, Alexis Preston and Jay Patel of Texas, won the shows’ Royal Couple Contest. They were selected from more than 2,500 engaged couples.
The two got engaged at Walt Disney World but had to delay their wedding due to Hurricane Harvey. Instead, millions will get to watch their ceremony.
The ceremony takes place live in front of the Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom at 8:30 a.m. May 10, 2018. The show begins at 7 a.m and there will be short segments throughout the show.
The newlyweds will spend their wedding night in the Cinderella Castle suite and then head off to a special eight-day/ seven-night Honeymoon in England and France created by Adventures By Disney.
