Dates for 2018 Halloween Time at Disneyland announced

Halloween Time at the Disneyland returns this year and will take place from Sept. 7 through Oct. 31, 2018, with seasonal attraction overlays, Halloween themed decor and special encounters with Disney villains.

Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. will be transformed to include a giant Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern and a Pumpkin Festival. In Frontierland, the colorful Día de los Muertos tribute, commemorating the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead, will feature a musical trio of iconic skeleton figurines and brightly colored flowers.

The Haunted Mansion will again be transformed into the Haunted Mansion Holiday with Jack Skellington and the characters from the “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” taking over the ride.

Space Mountain will become Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy where guests are surrounded by  eerie screams, sound effects, music and some spirits popping out of the darkness.

 

Oogie Boogie, from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,”  from takes over California Adventure. His oversized silhouette will be seen through the main entrance of the park, and hover over a swarm of bats that circle around Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge.

At Carthay Circle guests will find a 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman holding his jack-o-lantern head to the sky.

Cars Land will transform Radiator Springs into Radiator Screams.  Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz, and Red will all be dressed in their “car-stumes.” Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree turns into Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters gets a seasonal twist to become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is turned into a Halloween adventure every night called Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.
