How do the single rider lines at Disney World work?
The concept is easy: At various attractions at Disney World, there are rides that have separate entrances for single riders. Be warned: If you go in with a group of people, you will be split up. You will be riding next to strangers. If you’re with kids, the single rider line might not be an option. Guests must be at least seven years old in order to ride alone. If your child is not comfortable riding next to someone else than use the standby queue. Single riders are used to fill in empty seats left open, usually by odd-numbered parties. The idea for Disney is to fill every seat to maximize the number of people who can ride the attraction each hour. The more seats filled, the more people can ride.
